Thank You Findlay!

For making our last event yet another great success! We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did putting it on and be sure to check back for more events in your area soon.

Thank You Findlay

Spring 2009

It is going to be an exciting 2009 for worship2action. We are planning two major events for the year and will be expanding our audience and our reach to the West Coast and the Northeast.

Look for our events in a city near you and thanks again for your continued support of worship2action!

Message From Mike
Mike PeakSince our inception four years ago, worship2action has had as its mission to raise the awareness of the world's poor and disenfranchised. Through our outreach, whether on our website or at our concerts, we have reminded people that worship requires both loving up toward God and loving out toward one's neighbor.

Over the years worship2action has evolved in several important ways. First, we have refined what we mean by the poor and downtrodden. Through introspection, with prayer, by looking into national and international disasters, and by examining projects around the world designed to help disadvantaged populations, we have come to focus on five significant groups: widows, orphans, the hungry, the sick, and the oppressed.

Second, we have expanded our sense of what it means to love the poor among us. We will now challenge our audiences not only to raise consciousness, but to give. These donations will be channeled to local, national, and international projects that serve the thousands, even millions, of the disadvantaged groups we have identified.

The year 2007 was a challenging but very important one for the future of worship2action. Although attendance at our annual Findlay concert was down because of the devastating floods that hit northwest Ohio, it was a great evening of joyous worship and quiet reflection of those who suffer around the world. Jeremy Camp and DecemberRadio were fantastic performers, and the presence of God was thick in the auditorium.

The future is bright for our well-meaning but small organization. We are about to embark on ambitious new projects and gear-up our outreach and marketing efforts. We are delighted to announce that international worship and recording artist, and founding board member of w2a, Don Moen will be taking an active role promoting and appearing at events all over the country. Plans are coming together for stadium concerts with headliners in major cities. Stay tuned for news of these events and a new identity in the next few months.

Till then, remember that all the Law and the Prophets hang upon the Two Greatest Commandments. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Thanks for your support.
